Abstract

The current movie and music copyright protection has problems such as difficulty in tracking infringements and unclear copyright ownership. Technical means are used to improve the efficiency and security of copyright protection. This paper applies a movie and music copyright protection mechanism based on blockchain technology and uses an improved Practical Byzantine Fault Tolerance (PBFT) consensus algorithm to improve system performance. A decentralized blockchain architecture is designed to enhance the fault tolerance of the movie and music copyright management system in the event of node failure by optimizing message passing during the consensus process. The copyright information of movies and music is uploaded to the chain in a standardized metadata format, combined with the Inter Planetary File System (IPFS) to achieve fast storage and low-cost management. Finally, smart contracts monitor infringements and generate tracking reports automatically, and role-based access control is implemented to ensure information security. The research results show that under normal network conditions, the movie and music copyright management system designed in this paper can identify infringement behaviors of different data with a precision of over 95.1% and a recall rate of over 94.2%. In addition, the system also performs well in infringement tracking efficiency, with a response time of 3.5 seconds to 4.7 seconds for various infringements, which is lower than other systems.
