Cultivation of Cybersecurity Awareness in Art Education and Its Impact on Entrepreneurship and Employment

Abstract
With the widespread application of digital art tools, art education has gradually become digitalized, but the current system focuses too much on creative skills and ignores cybersecurity. Many artists lack security awareness and are prone to cyber attacks. This paper explores how to cultivate cybersecurity awareness in art education to help artists create and trade safely in a digital environment, reduce security risks, and enhance competitiveness. By incorporating content such as VPN (Virtual Private Network) use and HTTPS ( HyperText Transfer Protocol Secure) encryption into art courses and teaching how to protect the intellectual property rights of artistic creations, students can understand the security threats faced by digital artworks. By simulating cyber attack scenarios such as copyright infringement, identity theft, and data leakage, students are provided with opportunities for actual combat exercises. During the exercises, students learn how to identify common cybersecurity threats and can take appropriate countermeasures. By cooperating with teachers from majors such as information technology and law, interdisciplinary lectures or seminars are offered to explain how to ensure cybersecurity in artistic creation, especially copyright protection of artworks and security of online transactions. A dedicated cybersecurity resource platform is established to provide art students with the latest cybersecurity tools, case analyses, industry trends, etc., to help students obtain useful security information at any time during the creative process. Experiments show that after learning cybersecurity knowledge, the conversion rate of students to safe behaviors reaches over 80%, and the success rate of entrepreneurship among highly aware students is as high as over 90%. This method has opened up a new path for safe entrepreneurship and employment for artists.
