Securing Online Transactions in Automobile Marketing Platforms with a Robust Network Security Model

Abstract
The growth of online platforms for vehicle marketing has simplified the process of buying and selling automobiles. However, the rise in online transactions has led to growing concerns about the security and confidentiality of sensitive financial information. The safety of buyers and sellers on these platforms are threatened by various cybercrimes, including fraud, data breaches, and identity theft. Previous researches have reviewed general security solutions for e-commerce and online transactions, but very few works have specifically addressed security issues pertinent to the automobile marketing sector. The current models often fail to protect large-scale transactions, data confidentiality, and unauthorized access concerning automobile sales. An all-inclusive network security model for online automobile marketing platforms is specifically designed in this research. The model includes transport layer security (TLS) as well as secure socket layer (SSL) encryption, secures payment systems with multi-factor authentication (MFA), firewalls, intrusion detection systems (IDS), data privacy protection, and advanced user authentication methods like open authentication (OAuth). These security measures would be implemented to protect both integrity in the transaction and privacy in user, and this has protected online common threats through proper secure payment processing, protection of access into the platform by persons other than intended and general protection against personal and financial information about them. A multi-layered security approach adds more credence to the confidence of users in the ability of the platform to protect sensitive information. For safe online automobile transactions, a strong network security model must be put into place. In the future, when blockchain and artificial intelligence are used to safeguard platforms and foster user trust, this paradigm may prove to be a reliable framework for developers.
