Application Research on Real-time Monitoring and Fault Early Warning System of Oilfield Production Equipment Based on Internet of Things Technology
Main Article Content
Abstract
This study explores the application of real-time monitoring and fault warning system for oilfield production equipment based on IoT technology. IoT technology is utilised to provide global sensing and real-time monitoring of oilfields by installing sensors and monitoring equipment to collect a wide range of data including equipment operating conditions, well production, oil and gas storage, and so on. These data are used to identify potential safety hazards in a timely manner and take appropriate measures so that accidents can be avoided. The system improves the safety and production efficiency of the oilfield by establishing an early warning system that warns of possible equipment failures, abnormal production, etc. based on preset thresholds. At the same time, by analysing historical and real-time data, the system can help oilfield companies develop more reasonable production plans and optimisation strategies. In addition, IoT technology is also applied to remote control of oilfield production, equipment maintenance and management, as well as sales and logistics and transport to reduce costs and improve efficiency. Practical application cases show that the system provides oilfield enterprises with all-round solutions and promotes the transformation and upgrading of oilfields in terms of digitalisation, intelligence and automation.
