Abstract

This article focuses on the study of symbolic elements in Japanese literature, aiming to explore digital assisted analysis methods and data privacy protection strategies. The traditional manual study of Japanese literary symbolism elements is inefficient, time-consuming, and susceptible to subjective factors. Digital technology has brought new opportunities for this research. By collecting data through web crawlers, constructing a symbolic element lexicon and semantic model, and using techniques such as text mining and visual analysis, it is possible to deeply analyze symbolic elements. At the same time, with the help of digital platforms such as JSTOR and Chaoxing Discovery, rich resources can be obtained and efficient research can be conducted. However, there are data privacy risks in the process of digital research, such as the potential leakage of user and work data during the stages of data collection, storage, processing, and dissemination. Therefore, the article proposes a multi-dimensional collaborative strategy to protect data privacy, including legal compliance, technical encryption and anonymization, management system construction, and personnel training. By comprehensively applying these methods, we can not only fully explore the connotations of Japanese literary works, but also ensure data security and promote sustainable development of research.
